If your YIKONG YK4083/V3 RC Car Wheels (Part No. 14150) have factory-glued tires, the easiest way to separate the tire from the wheel is by heating the glue. This method is generally safe for the wheel when done carefully.

You’ll need a heat gun (a hair dryer can also work, but it takes longer) and a cloth or heat-resistant gloves. Hold the heat gun about 5–8 cm (2–3 finger widths) away from the glued edge of the wheel and heat it evenly for 3–5 minutes. Once the glue begins to soften, gently lift the edge of the tire and slowly work it loose while continuing to apply heat. Avoid using excessive force.

If some sections are still firmly attached, simply heat those areas a little longer and continue separating the tire gradually. After one side is removed, repeat the same process on the other side.

Once the tire is completely separated, allow it to cool slightly before removing the foam insert. In most cases, the glue is only applied around the outer bead of the wheel, while the center groove is not glued. By heating the bead evenly and taking your time, you can usually remove the tire without damaging the YIKONG YK4083/V3 RC Car Wheels (Part No. 14150).
Note: This method will usually preserve the tire and foam insert, but the wheel itself will most likely be damaged beyond reuse. If you already plan to replace the wheel and only want to keep the tire and foam insert, this is a suitable method.
