yikong yk9071 RC Car

Just a guess—it could be a 1/5 or 1/6 scale roll-cage desert truck, slightly smaller than the XRT, supporting 6–8S batteries. The power system might feature a MAX6 ESC paired with a 4985 motor, and the motor, servo, and gearbox could be mounted in a high–low reversed layout to lower the center of gravity.

What kind of model do you think it will be? Let’s discuss!

Many new JJRC Q130C riders start off being very careful with their cars. But after some time, the urge to unleash full power and enjoy high-speed action becomes irresistible. So, to confidently enter “rage mode,” what spare parts should you prepare in advance?
Here’s a clean and complete guide to help you play harder without worry:

Recommended Spare Parts for Aggressive Driving

These are the components most likely to get damaged during high-impact or high-speed driving. Preparing them in advance lets you ride boldly and without hesitation.

1. Spare Tires & Wheels (Essential)

Hard launches, drifts, and jump landings can easily cause tire blowouts or wheel cracks.
Recommended: At least 1 spare set.

2. Rocker Arm / Lower Control Arm (A-arms)

One of the most common breakage points during collisions.

3. Steering Cup / C-Hub

These front-end parts take the most impact during aggressive driving.

4. Front & Rear Differential Gears

Large tires, rough terrain, or repeated high-speed braking can cause gear wear or chipped teeth.
Recommended: 1 spare set.

5. Driveshaft (Dog Bone / CVD)

Hard landings or wheel lockups can bend or eject the driveshaft.
Recommended: 1 pair of front CVDs.

6. Servo

The stock servo can burn out or strip gears during violent impacts.
Recommended: 1 spare servo or an upgraded metal-gear servo.

7. Body Shell Clips / Brackets

Body shells can crack or lose clips during rough handling.
Recommended: A few extra clips.

8. Batteries (Extended Play Time)

Aggressive driving drains power faster.
Recommended: 1–2 extra 11.1V batteries.

9. Shock Absorber Parts (Shafts, O-rings, Oil)

Hard landings can bend shafts or cause oil leakage. Upgrading shocks is also a good option.
Recommended: Basic shock maintenance consumables.

10. Tool Kit

Essential for quick repairs and part replacements.
Recommended: Phillips screwdriver, hex wrenches, pliers.

Final Advice

To truly unleash the power of the JJRC Q130C, the most important spare parts are:
A-arms, driveshafts, steering components, differential gears, tires, and batteries.
With these prepared, you can push the car harder and enjoy worry-free high-impact action.

Last weekend, I took my MN MODEL MN333 RC car to the seaside! This car is a 1:18 scale Mog-style model. Although it’s small, the metal body feels heavy and solid in my hands. It also comes with spare tires and fuel cans, which are very realistic. The doors can’t open, and there’s no interior, but that doesn’t affect my love for it.

As soon as I got to the rocks by the shore, I couldn’t wait to drive it. The MN MODEL MN333’s rubber tires handled the slippery, uneven rocks very well. Its metal frame and portal axles made the car very sturdy. Watching it crawl over the rocks and pass large stones steadily was really exciting!

The shock absorbers are quite stiff, and it takes some effort to press them down, but they support the car well on the rocky surface and prevent it from wobbling. The original kit also comes with soft springs, which I plan to try next to see if it performs even smoother on rough terrain.

In terms of power, the MN MODEL MN333’s 180 motor and new gearbox provide strong torque. It climbs rocks and slopes easily. It’s not very fast, but crawling slowly over rocks is actually more fun. Its lighting system is also very cool — headlights, turn signals, and reverse lights all work. Driving it on the rocky seaside at night felt like having a tiny adventure truck, which looked really awesome!

Overall, the MN MODEL MN333 is super fun to play with on seaside rocks! It’s sturdy, stable, and looks great, handling rough terrain with ease. Although its small size and high center of gravity can make it tip over sometimes, picking it up and continuing to play is always enjoyable. This seaside rock adventure made me like this little off-road car even more!

What do you think of the MN333? Feel free to leave a comment.

Some players notice that the YIKONG YK4061 RC Car moves slower when going forward than in reverse. This is usually because the ESC wasn’t fully calibrated at the factory.
You can fix it by following these steps:

  1. Prepare a Hobbywing programming card;
  2. Connect it to the ESC, and modify the “Forward/Reverse” parameter (3-2 to 3-1);
  3. Adjust Channel 2 (Throttle) direction on your transmitter to ensure proper throttle travel.

After these settings, your YIKONG YK4061 crawler will have balanced forward and reverse speeds with smoother control.

Note: Below are the default factory settings for the original YIKONG YK4061 ESC system.
