Some players notice that the YIKONG YK4061 RC Car moves slower when going forward than in reverse. This is usually because the ESC wasn’t fully calibrated at the factory.
You can fix it by following these steps:
- Prepare a Hobbywing programming card;
- Connect it to the ESC, and modify the “Forward/Reverse” parameter （3-2 to 3-1）;
- Adjust Channel 2 (Throttle) direction on your transmitter to ensure proper throttle travel.
After these settings, your YIKONG YK4061 crawler will have balanced forward and reverse speeds with smoother control.
Note: Below are the default factory settings for the original YIKONG YK4061 ESC system.
